When you first arrive you're anxious, excited and can't wait to meet the people you will be spending the next couple of months with, TRAVELING!
At first, its a little awkward, you dont know who to sit with at lunch and you're forced to just sit with random people and introduce yourself, but hey it's all part of the experience (kind of like first year). But everything is new and exciting.
In your very first meeting, at the "Union" your version of "Dia" (she was our Administrative Dean) will tell you how you will all become family and about the shipboard community, and how the ship will become your home. At first you're like nahhh i doubt it, but its true! You'll see...
Anyway, you make friends quickly and after waiting for NINE LOOONG DAYS you finally arrive to your first country, and then you DONT STOP until its over. Its an amazing experience.
Near the end you realize that you truly have become a family, and that the ship is your home, that your trip is unique and no other SAS trip will be like yours. You find yourself making inside jokes that only people on your SAS trip could understand, getting to know the crew (some of them a little too much... jesus?), and getting to name a room "SASers of Genious" and that makes it unforgettable.
They Very beginning...
